St. Mary Catholic Elementary School in Welland opened in 1956 and is a vibrant component of the Welland community. Named for the Mother of God, more than 230 Mustangs (future Notre Dame Irish) in kindergarten through Grade 8 attend St. Mary Catholic Elementary School today.
Guided by professional Catholic educators and the gentle spirit of its namesake, St. Mary Catholic Elementary School is a safe, inclusive, Catholic learning environment where students learn and grow together in wisdom and faith. Before and after-school childcare is available at St. Mary in Welland through A Child’s World Early Learning.
St. Mary Catholic Elementary School is part of the Notre Dame College School family of schools and the St. Mary parish community.
